24.01.2022 Kurrajong Seed Pod Earrings . :: native rufous coloured canoe like pods :: .... These pods are pretty intense to work with. Laced with these spikey little prickles that grab onto the inside of the pod - they require gloves & a mask to get the fine hairs out . - hats off & deep bow - to the indigenous folks who hand selected and ground the seeds into flour damper. So much patience in survival .

The yellow feathers come from my Mum's little Weiro that passed away in her cage. She saved her for me to use as she knew I would honour her life and transform her into some exquisite earring piece . 23.01.2022 11 months ago. When I look at this photo of myself I see so many conflicting emotions in my eyes. I was in serious shock after a sudden unexpected change in my life’s path. My nervous system was wigging out. My heart was completely broken - heavy - sad - unsafe. My sense of self - very fragmented & yet I managed initiate a photography session with my beautiful Mumma. Wearing my wisdom emu earrings as an attempt to feel a tiny bit better about myself and to remember the eleme...ntal forces and the shamanic part of self - through what felt like a complex survival fuelled savage time. When I look at this now in my current reality of feeling much clearer & open, receptive to life again and her magic - all that self inquisition - all that sitting with in the experience - with self - with community. I take a deeper breath. A major theme that was highly medicinal and re patching was the creative force that still wanted to create through me. I look back at this part of my life and feel into.... THANK ALL THE GODS things changed ... My life now feels way better & juicy & uncovering with new depths - new special connections & so it continues #uplevelingonsomanylevels

Waking up to a fresh autumn morning - tea on the brew - my eyes wander to my bird bath and BAM :: bright red :: Scarlet Robin. what a chosen colour to wear every single day. Do you have bird bath in your garden ? If not & you have a little garden patch - create a space for these magicians of the sky to bath - hydrate and dwell . You will become quite mesmerised with just how much birdlife there is .

17.01.2022 These beauty’s are bold - beaming and bright. Just like the bird really. The knife shaped feathers coming from a natural moult of the Rainbow Lorikeets tail. A lady brings me bags of them from her pet parrot - so I can re vamp them into EPIC one of a kind earrings. This is one smaller way of taking a more sustainable approach to ethical sourcing. 17.01.2022 jacaranda :: Yoni :: seed pods . To me they are seed pod yoni’s . I see nothing else but that with these - hand drilled - varnished - and mounted earrings which are my favourite jacaranda earrings I’ve ever made #notforsale . . I have felt such a connection with these seed pods for the last few months & have noticed within myself my attraction to the shape - the earthy browns - the wearable nature of them & how they represent femme - fertility - openness & abundance . al...l the delicious - sincere traits of the healthy feminine spirit . . . These pods when on the tree - carry within them this thin puff pastry like - collection - of seeds which are easily transported though the wind to seed else when cracked open by many factors - heat - birds pecking them - naturally cracking open to follow the blueprint of evolving as a species. I love that this tree has these wicked femme pods & THEN when she flowers they turn this vibrant VIOLET purple mother earth does seem to be that - mother - earth . . . . 10.01.2022 Just spotted in my wild eucalyptus backyard very up close and personal to me the beautiful :: Spotted Pardalote :: This bird is sooo small . One of Australia’s smallest birds . The fine details of this bird are able to be taken in when up close and she didn’t seem to mind me being with in a metre of her site. She was gathering Milkweed for her nest ( which is on the floor ) and what I read about them is : both sexes play an active role in building the nest but the female does the final nest chamber and nest building a ladies final touch

It’s a room of peace and serenity, where American Indians can burn sacred plants like sweetgrass, sage and ceremonial tobacco for patients and their families. It’s the first smudging room in a Helena medical facility, according to state. This is a huge step for Indian people -- to have this room. I can’t tell you how excited I am. 02.01.2022 hey bird lovers I’m curious .. what’s your favourite bird that you’ve come across in this life time and why ? .... my list is long but summit of the top pick would be the native night bird - Tawny Frogmouth . this bird has many cool abilities - one of them being the ability to be a master of disguise - sucking in its body - standing tall and pretending to be a stick during the day while sleeping ( an incredible evolutional ability to hide from bigger prey & to also wait for smaller pray for night hunting ) They also have these soul piercing yellow eyes that seem to see much more of a spectrum of life - their feathers are soft - yet strong & so much more to them I admire & am in awe of
