02.01.2022 INT Nurse Training would like to thank our staff and students for their ongoing cooperation these past few weeks regarding the recent outbreak of the Corona Virus (COVID-19). As you may know the World Health Organisation has now declared the COVID-19 outbreak a global pandemic. INT Nurse Training would like to reassure staff and students that there have been no confirmed cases on campus and that we are monitoring the situation very closely, taking the utmost precaution to co...ntain the spread of the virus and protect the health of our staff and students as well as the local community. Extra cleaning precautions have also been implemented on campus, with cleaning now occurring twice a day. However, regular classes and teaching activities will still be going ahead as per student timetables and it is expected that students attend their allocated learning hours per week. Staff and students are urged to seek medical help if you develop a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath regardless of whether you have travelled recently or not. Please isolate yourself for 14 days if this is the case to reduce the spread of the virus and let the administration team at INT know of your circumstances. Any absences that do not conform to INT Nurse Trainings attendance policy will be recorded and monitored accordingly. If you have been absent from class and are now cleared, INT has a free tutorial class available on Saturdays for extra support should the need arise. Lastly, please remember that there is no need for any panic, fear or hysteria.
