20.01.2022 WE NEED YOUR IDEAS! Martin and I are in the begin phases for our new podcast project, Infamous. In each episode we have a conversation with an Australian who divides opinion. A person that has strapped a controversial lightening rod to their head, electrifying them to the point where their life story and experiences have been charred into a crude silhouette in the mind of the public.... We would put politics to one side and focus our conversation on their loves, their loses and their thoughts on life. Profiling them, to try and understand their public persona better. The idea is that we are all too comfortable in our own little communties, that often it requires a concious effort to have any meaniful conversation with people who hold radically different points of view to you. We are putting together a list of people of who we would like to approach, and we would love to have your input. We are very open to any ideas, even if they might seem way off base. Politicians, authors, comedians, businessmen, actors, sportsmen, public intellectuals, radio personalities, scientists, lawyers... dog catchers. Just anyone who is lionized by their supporters and demonized by their detractors. You can suggest people in the comments below or email us at [email protected]
16.01.2022 Meet Lizzie, who although we met in Hobart was living there with her parents after some substance abuse in Melbourne had left her in need of help.
16.01.2022 #FlashBackFriday to one year ago when we were travelling around Tasmania for the second major part of our filming. This photo was either at the Great Lakes in central Tas or it is a Sigur Rós album. Not sure which.

05.01.2022 "It broke my heart, but there you go." In the middle of Australia on your way to Uluru you will pass through Peter's roadhouse at Curtin Springs. He has built the place from the ground up, and he shared with us stories of his wife who died of cancer thirty years ago. Course language warning on this interview!

04.01.2022 Deb in Oatlands Tasmania on romance. What do you think?
04.01.2022 Here it is. The first episode of this season of Into the Middle of Things. We found Anthony fishing off a pier in Grafton and we asked him if he'd like to tell us his story. What followed was a completely unexpected and brutally honest conversation with a guy who was trying to put his life back together after some serious mistakes, and earn the trust of his loved ones again.
04.01.2022 We have a new project that you should all know about. We've been shortlisted by the ABC and Screen QLD to develop and pitch a web series to them for ABC iView. The idea is a blend between comedy and documentary about how we talk about sex in a more open, honest and fun way. If you are in Brisbane and would like to be in the audience for the pilot episode, click on the link below and register for a free ticket.
