25.01.2022 Can you guess what the bodies largest organ is? Our skin! It’s easy to take our skin for granted but without all 3.6kg, our bodies wouldn’t be able to function. By loosening and moving the muscles and tissues under the skin, our blood is able to make its way to the skin easier, resulting in increased blood flow and circulation and happier skin. ... 25.01.2022 -GROWTH- Our sweet Murrayas in the planter boxes out the front of the clinic were really struggling to thrive recently. They had sun, they had plenty of water but they just struggled to grow. It got us thinking.... We called in Becks Garden Maintenance and she noticed that the plants had a nasty worm in the bottom hindering its growth. With someone who knows what they are doing, the plants are now in an environment where they can now thrive. It goes to say like our plants, if you’re in a poor or toxic environment, how are you expected to thrive and grow?

24.01.2022 G R A T E F U L 2020 has put a lot of unexpected stress and strain on us all this year. It’s been difficult to adapt to the ever changing rules, regulations and expectations. What it does show is that irrespective of what this year has thrown at us, it exemplifies the resilience of us as people, families and as a community. ... I won’t forget the brilliant people that I have treated and worked with @intouchhealthco this year. I have found that as health care workers, we have seen the by-product it has taken on you all. We hope you have walked out feeling somewhat more different than you walked into our clinic. I am proud that we have been a part of your journey this year too. I want my patients to have learnt; * that seeing nature makes us feel better, * that family and friends mean the world to us, * that our health is an absolute priority, * and that people who bulk-buy toilet paper are jerks. Let’s be grateful for things that you or someone else has made possible this year. There is always something to be proud and fortunate of in 2020. We have so many more amazing surprises for you all next year. I can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you for letting this clinic be apart of your journey. We look forward to seeing you in 2021 for our biggest reveal yet. ~ Adam

16.01.2022 With a large majority still working from home, the InTouch team thought these simple tips might help in making your working from home set-up more comfortable and sustainable: - Position the top of your computer screen at eye level and your keyboard at elbow level, this will help to avoid neck pain, back pain and headaches - The ugly office chair we all took for granted is now sorely missed! Buy yourself a comfy office chair. Dining room chairs or similar provide minimal lu...mbar support and can result in slouching or the inability to sit with your feet flat on the ground - Prioritise movement and go for a short walk, stretch or move positions every 30 minutes. Try taking phone calls standing up or head outdoors for a walk during your lunch break

10.01.2022 Despite the importance of water, most of us struggle to drink enough of it and will often opt for something 'tastier'. However, we should be consuming around 2.5L of water a day, not including the water we obtain from our foods. The team at InTouch have compiled a list of tips that we hope might be helpful when trying to reach your water requirements each day: 1. Give your water some oomph! Try adding some fresh fruit such as strawberries or oranges to your water... 2. Buy yourself a large drink bottle, some even have time markings that help in achieving specific amounts throughout the day 3. Drink a glass of water with each meal you consume throughout the day or after each toilet break 4. Download a fun and encouraging water app, such as 'Plant Nanny' 5. Start and finish your day with a glass of water We hope this helps! Let us know below if you have any tips that help you drink more water
