25.01.2022 Visiting Donnybrook July 27th

25.01.2022 Australind day booked for Friday the 23rd November - pending confirmation of 8 horses. ///////////////- Sheath cleaning can be dangerous as I do not sedate the horses. So if you can’t personally stroke your horses belly and safely touch the outside of your horses sheath. Please do not book your horse in. ... **For if I get there and your horse starts kicking out, you will still be charged in full and the sheath will remain unclean. I will not be put in what I feel is an unsafe situation as my other work commitments require me to have the use of both legs. I do not do mini’s or very small shetlands.

25.01.2022 Now this horse I can guarantee will be feeling a whole lot better tonight In order to remove the bean on my hand, I had to break it up into 4 pieces. Unfortunately the urethral fossa is really stretched now and will be more prone to beans building up in the future. So early removal will be key. The black stuff in the second picture was really hard smegma, that was build up around the entrance to the sheath.

25.01.2022 I find castration scars that are thick, tight, and pulled up into the groin all the time. When sheath cleaning, I do my best to stretch and open the tissue, to give horses more comfort. It is an issue and one that can make a difference to a geldings comfort. https://www.facebook.com/groups/equinerehabcpd/permalink/1192673284081882/

20.01.2022 I have had many messages overnight asking about cleaning a geldings sheath, here is the link to the video I posted a few months back. If you are unsure about ch...ecking your mare or gelding for beans then please speak to your vet, they will be able to help you, just remember our personal safety always comes first! https://www.vickiwilson.nz//routine-maintenance-sheath-cle See more

19.01.2022 I’ll be in Australind Friday the 23rd and Donnybrook Tuesday 27th. Pm me to book

19.01.2022 Guys I’ve been getting heaps of Enquiries about sheath cleaning and removing beans. Please note my normal service area is between Witchcliffe, Rosabrook, Margaret River, cowaramup and Busselton. To travel to areas outside this area, I require 8 horses.... I’m very busy with bodywork on humans and horses, so I can only allow one day a fortnight for full day trips away from home, so please allow a minimum of 3 weeks when booking. Sheath cleaning can be dangerous as I do not sedate the horses. So if you can’t personally stroke your horses belly and safely touch the outside of your horses sheath. Please do not book your horse in. For if I get there and your horse starts kicking out, you will still be charged in full and the sheath will remain unclean. 18.01.2022 A healthy functioning urethra first pic. An unhealthy compressed urethra, with a bean above.

17.01.2022 Not so safe on a horse that’s not sedated, but easily done

16.01.2022 I’m in Donnybrook and taking bookings for Friday 12th of October

15.01.2022 Looking at Saturday 6th I’ve had a desperate call to come to Bridgetown and it’s for a whopper, so I can’t resist. So I’m hoping to find 6 horses to make the day worthwhile. Pre requisite is that you can rub your horses belly and sheath area without drama. ... Pm me. Payment will be required at the time of booking to confirm your spot. See more

09.01.2022 This day is full

08.01.2022 Hey guys just a reminder to check your horses sheaths. I went out this morning and my horse Govey had a small amount of swelling at the front of the sheath. So I decided to give him a clean and he had a lot of build up at the entrance which was probably due to an initial reaction to an insect bite. He also had a couple of small but very hard beans. I think he enjoyed his clean It’s amazing what I’ve found in sheaths...melanomas, large growths, twigs and oat seeds to name a few things.

06.01.2022 Someone enjoyed their sheath clean today, at one point he was even giving me a light groom. If his leg wasn’t up letting me in, he was standing base wide and making sure I had heaps of room to work

02.01.2022 An important message to ALL gelding, stallion and colt owners!! CHECK THEIR PENIS ROUTINELY! Share Share Share so as to help educate other horse owners xx. It i...s imperative to routinely examine the urethra and penis tip. We ALWAYS check our boys, and its much like routine dental here, theyre checked every six to twelve months. . here's why. . We can mostly be opportunistic and get a check when the boys have it already relaxed and out for us, this youll find happens mostly while eating but also while trimming or after work. Brandy, who has not been with us very long, however has not yet so generously presented us with his penis. This morning his sheath was very swollen and sure enough, this huge bean wedged in the tip of his penis was the cause! With such a big bean, youll often see, as is the case here, irritation of the penis, the swelling of the penis and sheath and you can see the blood in the bean. Here's a good article that explains in detail the how and why. https://thehorse.com/151522/male-horse-hygiene/ See more

02.01.2022 Ok this is one of the biggest beans I’ve pulled. At approx 10cm long x 2.5cm wide x 2cm deep it was definitely causing this boy some issues. Now the urethral fossa is so stretched (after holding this rather large bean) he will need rechecking in 4-6 months.
