The objective, will be to get that balance right, but also to make sure everybody is kept as safe as possible and in particular protect those most vulnerable in our community.... This also means that over the coming months Australians when possible will travel locally and interstate, injecting much needed growth back into the local economies! This is a good time for a bit of dreaming, planning, thinking about the Aussie break that you might take when we finally get to the other side of this. 19.01.2022 What counts as Essential Travel during the Covid-19 lock down / restrictions? Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar places, either for isolation or holidays. Government guidance around the most recent lock down measures suggests for now you should stay at home as much as possible, and keep approx 1.5m apart from anyone outside of your household. ... The law says people should not leave their house without a reasonable excuse. You can however go shopping for basic necessities, such as food and medicine, as infrequently as possible. You can also leave the house to care for elderly or vulnerable people, such as dropping shopping or medication at their door, as long as you have no coronavirus symptoms. There are a few exceptions around why you can leave the house, but simply put, if you don’t have a reasonable excuse to leave the house, it is not Essential Travel!! In saying this and knowing it is important to STAY HOME - when travel restrictions are lifted, we know Australians will want to travel local! We will be welcoming guests from near & afar to all our properties again and will run a promotion in the coming months, so stay tuned to find out more! 12.01.2022 Well after being apprehensive about our first schoolies booking - we are very pleased to say that we hosted 17 young guests at one of our premium properties without any incident, damage or concerns. We implemented some great measures to control what we could. These youngsters from Sydney behaved themselves in a mature manner and looked after our house, even spending a couple of hours before check-out to ensure the house was clean.
