24.01.2022 Got a new puppy?? Looking for a puppy preschool? We have a few places available in our puppy preschool class starting in Lismore Wednesday 1st July at 5.30pm. Set your puppy and yourself up for success, learn how to raise a happy confident puppy & get a start on those early skills needed for your puppy to live harmoniously in the human world! Classes run for 1 hr each week for 4 weeks with an online orientation you can do in your own time prior to first class.... You will have unlimited support along with access to our online course with video content to assist you with practice at home between face to face classes! Large open covered space - plenty of room for social distancing to meet government requirements around Covid-19, with classes limited to 6 puppies and a maximum of 2 x humans per puppy to maintain effective social distancing requirements. 23.01.2022 A few happy snaps from our puppy start right preschool today, Week 1 for these gorgeous pups, here they are going through various socialisation exercises to do with health and handling, many people think socialisation is just about exposing their puppy to lots of other dogs but socialisation is much more then this. Proper socialisation involves creating positive emotional responses to anything your puppy is likely to encounter as an adult dog, including other dogs, people, ex...periences, body handling, different surfaces, other animals, and novelty to name a few. Simply exposing your puppy to lots of stuff is not enough. Your puppy needs to be having a positive happy experience too. And all this needs to be done before the critical socialisation period ends at around 12 weeks of age.
