24.01.2022 Pay ID - What is it? Transfer money between banks within minutes - not days! Is your bank asking you to set up a Pay ID?... This is a new system that all the banks have to implement. You can now link your bank accounts with an email address or mobile phone number (this is your Pay ID). So next time someone wants to send you money, you don't have to give them your BSB and Account Number - you just give them the email address or mobile phone number you set up with your bank as your Pay ID and you will get the money within 1 minute (in most cases - if there is a delay, it will be 5-10 minutes max). Set it up now and start using it straight away! Still confused? Watch this video for more explanations.
