25.01.2022 INVERELL CYCLING CLUB COVID-19 STATEMENT AND ACTIONS. As a result of the Covid-19 global pandemic the Inverell Cycling Club have been reviewing their operations and activities. This has included assessment of the advice from relevant government agencies and Cycling Australia. Accordingly, the following actions will apply immediately: 1) All club organised activities such as racing and bunch training rides will cease until further notice; and... 2) Normal face to face monthly meetings will not take place until safe to do so. The cycling club like many other sporting organisations are not immune from doing their bit to limit the spread of the virus. We are sure the members will understand this necessary decision from the club executive. The club executive will continue to take appropriate steps to ensure the business of ICC is attended to and will update members as considered appropriate. 20.01.2022 DAVID REID HOMES GRAFTON TO INVERELL POSTPONED By directive of the NSW Police Force, as a result of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) response, the 2020 David Reid Hom...es Grafton to Inverell, scheduled for Saturday 9 May has been postponed. We are committed to conducting a successful 60th edition of the ‘Great Race’ and hope to confirm the new date for 2020 as soon as possible. Entries received for 2020 will be carried over or can be refunded from Cycling NSW upon request. It is still a great time to ride your bike, so keep fit and healthy and re-set your big event goal for later in the year!
