25.01.2022 MMC Ireland 2020 - After being told to mentor young men by the Lord, South African farmer Angus Buchan hosted the first Mighty Men Conference in 2004 on his far...m, called Shalom, in Greytown. To Angus’ amazement, the first gathering had 240 men arrived on his farm! Since then MMC's have been held all over the world with hundreds of thousands of men committing their lives to God and recognizing their role as the spiritual head of the family. Angus’s heart for the family unit and his wake up call to men has not changed, in fact, it’s even more important than ever given the current Pandemic lockdown situation. It’s almost as if God has made a way where there seemed to be no physical way through the internet. In obedience to the call to go into ‘all the world’ Angus along side Mighty Men in Ireland are holding first online MMC aimed specifically at the men in Ireland. Many prayers have been prayed for this event and we believe that the Lord is calling the men to rise up and take their rightful place in Ireland at this time. 19.01.2022 G'day men, Because of the continuing covid restrictions, we will postpone the Inverell Mighty Men's weekend till next year. As soon as we are able we plan for the weekend to go ahead, we'll let you know details as soon as possible. But this does give us new opportunities. When Pauls plans were interrupted by being thrown in jail he said "And I want you to know that everything that has happened has helped to spread the Good News." Ph 1:12 God is using covid to o...pen peoples eyes, to cause everyone to question where they get their security from. Men are looking for something solid to base their lives on. And it's forcing us to try to connect online which means we can reach men that we wouldn't normally have contact with. And this is an opportunity for you. But then he met Jesus, & he was overwhelmed by how much God really loved him, finally he knew the truth. Now his unforgiveness & anger is gone, replaced with real peace & joy. 14.01.2022 It's time we stand up & just share the truth. My name is Danny Everingham I believe in Jesus Christ. He is Lord, so I trust my life to Him. I believe what He tells me in the bible so I follow Him in the way I live. And I love the Lord, and despite the fact that I'm human and I fail Him daily, I know without a doubt that He loves me completely. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He was crucified on the cross where He willingly gave His life for my sins... THEN He... rose back to life on the 3rd day to prove that He is God, that He has overcome sin and death, and that He offers me eternal life. He gives me indestructible hope and unbelievable peace and security, because He never changes, He is absolutely trustworthy. I don't deserve any of this, but His grace knows no limits, so He forgives all my sins & loves me forever. Whatever excites the curiosity, scatters the thoughts, disquiets the heart, absorbs the interests or shifts our life focus from the kingdom of God within us to the world around us--that is a distraction; and the world is full of them. Our science-based civilization has given us many benefits but it has multiplied our distractions and so taken away far more than it has given.... The remedy for distractions is the same now as it was in earlier and simpler times, viz., prayer, meditation and the cultivation of the inner life. The psalmist said "Be still, and know," and Christ told us to enter into our closet, shut the door and pray unto the Father. It still works.... Distractions must be conquered or they will conquer us. So let us cultivate simplicity; let us want fewer things; let us walk in the Spirit; let us fill our minds with the Word of God and our hearts with praise. In that way we can live in peace even in such a distraught world as this. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you." The Set of the Sail, 129-132.
