24.01.2022 We're back, baby! Thanks to all who attended, followed the guidelines, checked-in, distanced and generally had a great morning - and no rain!!!! Congratulations Megan Hawking on reaching 100 parkruns after a 44 week break. Sorry to say, the camera has malfunctioned and nearly all the photos are very, very dark. I think there is a setting on the camera causing the issue. If anyone can assist, send us a message. Results are live. Thanks for coming. 23.01.2022 Hello Inverloch parkrun family. We hope you're as excited as we are - 8 sleeps!!! That's right. Inverloch parkrun relaunch is all set for January 16th at 8:00am. We're back at the stump.... We'd love to see all those familiar faces return and if you're new to parkrun or have been involved in (not) parkrun over the past year, now is the time to join the family. It's free and fun. Your weekly, timed 5km event where you can run, walk, or volunteer. There's something for everyone and everyone is valued. A few updates to to be aware of:- - A first timers briefing will occur at approximately 7:50am for first timers only to clarify their understanding of our parkrun event. - The pre-run briefing will now occur just prior to the 8:00am start for a maximum of 2 minutes. The important stuff will be covered but will be kept short and sharp to help minimise unnecessary clusters of people. - Remember, social distance as much as is possible. The Location QR code for contact tracing is now available and attached to this post. You can scan in advance should you want to check in prior to arriving at the event, or even afterwards. This will also be signposted in multiple locations around the start area should you bring your phone. We can't wait to see you all again. Get excited people. We're back!!

21.01.2022 Our friends at Wishart parkrun in Queensland welcomed parkrun back today with 233 finishers. Meanwhile in (Not)parkrun news Inverloch are back on top of the Australian list by just one person!! Have you logged your nottie yet this week? Jump onboard, you can log one any day of the week, on any course.

20.01.2022 While we are all super excited for next week's return to parkrun, don't forget to log your final (not) parkrun in the next few hours. We've had a stranglehold on this for a long time, only lowering our colours on a handful of occassions. Let's finish up with another top placing.

20.01.2022 How great was it to be back at the Stump on Saturday!! Let's do it all again this weekend. Huge congrats to Megan Hawking, one of our fab RDs, on reaching the 100 parkrun milestone after such a long, covid enforced wait. ***** MILESTONES ***** ... We need to keep briefings short but we still want to celebrate milestones. We will do a weekly shout out post for anyone doing a milestone at our next event. So let us know and we can celebrate your achievements online for now. We can't get you up on the stump just yet, but if you let us know about your milestone in advance, we can have the cape ready and ensure you're snapped proudly displaying your achievement. The capes will go in the wash with the vollies vest every week so they'll always be fresh and ready to go.

16.01.2022 GUESS WHO'S BACK !!! Mark January 16th in your calendar, circle it , draw some love hearts and a big smile then go and find your Barcode and dust it off !! parkun is BACK !! The Event team is busy applying for permits and filling out paperwork, there are a couple of changes that we will let you know about before hand (like all timing and scanning is contact free using the wonderful Virtual Volunteer App), but the Stump will be the place to be at 8:00am Saturday 16th January We need to fill our volunteer rosters starting from the 16th so get in early and grab your spot. Comment below with the date and position that you would like to fill.
