I am so disappointed by some of the practices in the property management industry that I felt compelled to reveal them in this report so that investors can see the shocking things that are happening behind the scenes and be more informed to make a better decision on who to use as their property manager. It is far better to spend 10 minutes now to know what to look out for before you are locked into a 2 or 3 year contract that costs you time, effort and money that you cant get back.

14.01.2022 Another drop in interest rates... The cheapest time in Australian history to have a loan and probably one of the scariest for most people but it doesnt have to be all doom and gloom. Here are some of the things I am doing to make the best of this crazy time.... Look at protecting your financial downside and preparing for the worst-minimize any vacancy periods, reduce your household expenses, ensure you have Landlords Protection Insurance, see if you can refinance to a better... rate or ask your current bank if they can do better because you are looking at leaving, limit the negative news intake and stay positive! Be adaptable and ready for change in your business or job, go out of your way to bring your company more work- everyone needs to be in marketing now If at all possible start to prepare for opportunities- set up credit lines, see if you can safely borrow more... There is going to be some amazing deals in both the property and share markets and if you can manage to take action when it is the most difficult of times, you will probably look back and be very glad you did. 08.01.2022 Join the Campaign to give Landlords a Fair Go during the COVID-19 pandemic. As you may be aware the WA Government announced an extension to the Emergency Period until 28 March 2021, meaning that the Residential Tenancies (COVID-19 Response) Act 2020 continues to apply to all tenancies regardless of whether the tenant is financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic or not. The WA Government made this decision despite approximately only one per cent of tenancies being imp...acted by COVID-19. We believe as a landlord, you should have the right to determine what is best for your investment property and the government should not be able to use the pandemic as a political tool to limit your rights as an investor. As it stands, we are not able to pass on rental increases to existing tenants and the market has already gone up 5-15% in most areas. Plus, it is extremely difficult for us to terminate a tenant or handle the sale of a property with some tenants unaffected by COVID taking advantage of this.
