Young men that the boys get a chance to meet and build relationships with that they relate to! Let's get the message out there that School structures need to support the "bullied" not the "bullies" - as per it's definition "A definition of bullying. Bullying is repeated verbal, physical, social or psychological behaviour that is harmful and involves the misuse of power by an individual or group towards one or more persons. Cyberbullying refers to bullying through information and communication technologies.

17.01.2022 CHANGING LIVES! Invicta-Youth is very proud to have had the opportunity to run our program with the prestigious Matthew Flinders school on the Sunshine Coast! We worked with both year 8 & 9 boys and were blown away with the excitement, energy and participation! Truly Awesome! A HUGE thank you to my team as the feedback has been incredible and notably Nigel Webster from the AFN (Australian Fishing network) for your awesome presentation on Passion and for organizing our Casio ...G-Shock watches for prizes. Mike Roche blew the boys away with a spirited delivery on what "Attitude" means in life and how a careful consideration for this value will be the ticket to success as a person. Lachie Landsdowne has worked with me for a while and as young legend and as an Invicta-Youth ambassador! As a champion and Australian representative in the world of ocean distance paddle boarding it was amazing to see how the boys reacted to Lachied Q&A with me and his explanation on what it means to be scared when you are out in a wild ocean but how you can change your thinking and be a winner - Lachie is only 20! Maturity way beyond his years... To my good friend Woogie! Always there for me and came in to define health, fitness and why a balance in a teens life between social, diet, training, sport and academic elements is so import in getting the sick, health and fitness continuum right! 16.01.2022 Hi guys - quick reminder to all parents interested we are running our Crossfit youth/kids sessions at CrossFit4566 (above Gibsons coffee shop in the Harvey Norman centre Noosaville) starting this Monday 4pm. Ages 10-15yrs and we take in kids of any ability. Sessions run for 30mins (4:00 -4:30pm) The Crossfit kids program is designed to use fun low risk movements to build on their natural fitness, coordination, speed, agility, body weight/core strength and most importantly but most important... Their confidence!! #theinvictaway

16.01.2022 Worth the wait.... This short piece is written by an amazing young soul! Ky Thorson attended our recent Invicta-youth program (which is Finishing today) and spoke of his passion for writing and becoming an author. Our job at Invicta-Youth is to inspire young men like Ky to take action and follow their passions so I challenged the boys and gave them their 1st task! Each task was in line with their BIG DREAM so Ky was asked to write something about "Adversity"... & I promised... him that I would publish his piece with his permission if he showed the courage to write what he felt! From the heart.. What he wrote is by far the most precise description of "overcoming adversity" that I have ever seen and he is a mere 13 years old! Our job as parents, mentors, friends, educators or any other influencer is to seek out the passion initiator in our teens and find a way to keep them true to these dreams.... help them to hold themselves accountable and keep motivating them to stick with it - show them you REALLY care... 06.01.2022 Meeting Ky Thorson Last week at the start of our Invicta Youth program I met a young man called Ky Thorson. Ky is a shy and gentle soul but once we got to know one another I was astounded (and simply inspired) by the maturity, emotional intelligence and kindness of such a young person! Ky's biggest dream is to become an author one day so I asked him to start his "first publication" and write a short paragraph on "Adversity" as his homework and that I could publish and use ...for our website. He quietly nodded with a huge smile and returned the next session with a folded, white piece of paper on which I would say is one of the most inspiring pieces of writing on adversity that I have ever read. I literally had the goose bumps and lump in my throat as I quietly read his piece to myself as he looked on... This young man is absolutely brilliant and when meeting mum and dad I can see why! Ky, like many others, is living in the rough world of teenagers and feeling pulled down by some of the bad behaviors that play out at school! Ky and his story is an example of why I started Invicta-Youth! I simply cannot sit by and let these beautiful souls fall victim to the self-doubts that come with trying to survive in this cruel world of school & watch them fall victim to things like bullying etc and see them loose their sense of passion for what they love because they've been forced into feeling "not good enough"!! It's important that every dream is given credit and for me to show the world that our future is in good hands with brilliant young minds like Ky Thorson With his permission I will be publishing Ky's work so that the world can have some insight into the brilliant minds and hearts of our young teens! 01.01.2022 I started INVICTA YOUTH because I extremely passionate about providing the best life skill content to our youth!and for me this comes in the form of "real-life" tangible humans who I believe for the Invicta-Youth values and who are as passionate as me in sharing their life experiences, get the kids to participate and interact and be challenged to think and see themselves differently! Another night of great "life skill" learning for our young legends! We discussed "First Impre...ssions" in detail and why creating a good first impression can set you up for a life of achievement and respect (for yourself and others) Then we had the honor of having Nigel Webster come in and mentor the boys on his life experience and what it took to realize his dream of producing and filming some of the most dynamic and awesome footage on Australian outdoor reality TV!
