22.01.2022 For today's Friday post we are going to be highlighting a new series coming out the day after Invasion Day. @cooked.animation is a tv show that is an adult comedy so some content might be confronting! It pokes fun at shitty historical people like Captain Cook and peep the orange hair "politician." Cooked's plot is about a mysterious airborne curse that plagues the nation. Captain Cook, and Mahnra travel around so-called australia to find the cure for this plag...ue! The description of the main characters: Cook has been dead for 250 years since Cook brewed that fine cup of Terra Nullius tea. So when the Prime Minister awakens his ghost, a few things have changed. Now it’s time that he drinks it up. Mahnra was once a young and beautiful Indigenous woman. That was killed and was immortalised into a goat to terrorise Cook. The voice of Mahnra is also voiced by Steph Tisdell (Stephtisdellcomedy), who is an Indigenous comedian! The director Jake Duczynski is a First Nation person and saw an opportunity when he heard discussion among politicians to make a replica of the Endeavour ship. We can't wait to see how they take the show and if they reveal some truth bombs! Also a reminder the Land Back Fest is on the 23rd of January check out @Wuurnofkanak for more info about the fest! Also, keep an eye out for more posts from us!

Starting from today we will be sharing and promoting a broad range of QTIPoC programs and posts again. We want to acknowledge that we will continue to use our platform to highlight the injustices and inequality that First Nations people face. Always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

05.01.2022 Today for Fun Fact Friday, we wanted to talk about some super interesting and also weird zodiac sign facts! To start off the facts, there is going to be a full moon in Leo happening tonight! It said to bring drama so prepare yourself for the tea and truth that might be revealed. Did you know there is technically a 13th zodiac sign. Ophiuchus is the 13th major constellation in the zodiac but was left out due to the 12-month calendar. ... In America, the signs that appear most in presidents are Scorpio and Pisces. The least common signs that have appeared are Gemini. The first use of Zodiac or lunar cycles was actually in agriculture, which is also one of the oldest astrology forms. It helped them to figure out when to sow and harvest crops by using the positions of the constellations in the sky. Do you know any interesting zodiac knowledge or facts? Let us know in the comments or message us!
05.01.2022 Today for Artist Wednesday, we want to talk about the March 4 Justice that happened throughout so-called australia this week. These photos are reposts from @nitv_au, which show women & non-binary folks coming together to stand against misogyny and violence. The March 4 Justice rallies have taken place all over australia, from cities to rural towns, to protest against discriminative acts towards women. This also includes but not limited to: First nations fol...k, trans women, non-binary folk, disabled folk and those from different cultures. The rallies were a powerful moment for all women and allies to stand up against the structures and culture that continually disempower all women. Its even beyond work spaces too! If you were apart of the marches or have been looking at all the discussion online that came from these rallies, I hope you are taking some time to do self-care for yourself since activism can take a toll on your mental health.
