18.01.2022 About the business and the role Amazing Clean Canberra & IOBA, established for 20 years, and part of Australia’s largest network of window furnishing maintenance specialists, are looking to expand our team due to increased demand. We are looking for a new member to join our Amazing team in our factory in Fyshwick. The position involves repairs and cleaning of blinds, curtains and awnings. Receiving goods into factory and occasional onsite work.... We provide the following services Sales and installation of Awnings, Blinds and Curtains including motorisation Blind- fitting, cleaning and repair Curtain, Upholstery and Leather cleaning. Awning-replacement, repair and maintenance in Domestic, Commercial and Government sectors. Job tasks and responsibilities Previous experience not essential but is an advantage, handyman aptitude and common sense attitude essential, comprehensive training is provided. The role presents and the individual would possess:- Excellent communication Skills both written and oral Be well presented and have excellent customer service skills Be Honest, Trustworthy, Reliable and Punctual Ability to prioritise, be decisive with good common sense. Work independently and as a team in a factory environment Strong organisational and time management skills Police checks are required. The position available is both rewarding and challenging, which requires commitment and a positive attitude. Whilst experience in the industry would be an advantage, a great attitude, positive outlook and sense of humour is desirable.
