17.01.2022 Our simplest plan charges customers 30c/kWh for general electricity usage, and $1.10 per day. Check your bill and don’t pay more. The Spark plan equates to $1602 per year, which is 13% lower than the reference price based on 4000 kWh per year usage in the SA Power Networks distribution network. https://www.ioenergy.com.au/OurPlans/

16.01.2022 Change is coming to South Australia.

15.01.2022 With IO Energy, you can pay as little as 8c/kWh for your electricity. This means some people are saving thousands of dollars on energy. The Advertiser thought that was pretty remarkable, so they wrote a story about us.

15.01.2022 'South Australia's flood of rooftop solar installations could lead to households being offered discounts of as much as 75 per cent on electricity prices during the middle of the day. The innovative "time of use" tariffs are being offered by start-up IO Energy, and it expects these to lure customers away from the big power companies.'

13.01.2022 Have you ever heard of an energy company offering an 80% price discount, on 100% clean electricity, with an additional 100% carbon offset on top? Our customers have! Find out how much money they're saving on power bills.

13.01.2022 Change is coming to the South Australian electricity grid.

10.01.2022 South Australian clean energy startup IO Energy has launched new optimisation software to control electricity purchase and release in homes with grid-powered ba...ttery systems. The product aims to maximise savings offered under time-of-use pricing for homes that don't have solar panels. Time-of-use-pricing is expected to begin in South Australia from July 1, with reduced rate grid power available from 10am until 3pm. The software works by matching household needs with grid energy pricing, and adjusting water heating or battery charging times accordingly. Read more: https://bit.ly/3e4uXhP

09.01.2022 Solar panels aren't an option for this South Australian resident, Robin. But he's found a way to cash in regardless. He's tapping into an abundance of renewables to reduce his energy bill by 45 - 50%.

07.01.2022 And the winner is IO Energy! We've been selected to partner with the SA Government (Department for Energy and Mining, South Australia and Department for Innovation and Skills - South Australia) to develop Electric Vehicle solutions in SA. The #Go2Gov grant will support the delivery of a feasibility study for smart charging solutions for holiday parks and motels!

06.01.2022 'World of energy changing' There's significant positive change happening to energy in Australia. No bigger than the announcement of the early closure of the Yallourn coal-fired power plant in Victoria. Check out the article below to see how this is reshaping energy in Australia! ... #renewablenergy #coal #cleanenergy #energymarket #renewables #batterypower

06.01.2022 Tariff Arbitrage: it's a funny sounding name, but it means you could save on your electricity bills by installing a battery in your home. You don't even need a solar system to make big savings. This article from SolarChoice explains how.

05.01.2022 The AEMC has proposed new rules to solve Australia's risk of solar traffic jams! The negative press coverage focusing only on this being a 'solar tax' risks turning customers away from engaging with energy transition. What is being missed is the opportunity for more solar to enter the grid, and for households to profit from the change.... These rules will allow smart energy users to be paid for exporting during peak times, and maybe even paid to soak up energy during the daytime. We're helping our customers to benefit by becoming smarter energy users. #solar #renewableenergy #cleanenergy

03.01.2022 Perhaps first spotted by our co-founder Rob, last week South Australia was powered by 100% solar power for a full hour! https://www.afr.com//south-australia-records-100pc-solar-i
