24.01.2022 This all began with the name that I gave to my KaHuna Massage table before it's blessing ceremony. As a 5Rhythms dancer and teacher, I landed on the name Kahula which literally translates as 'The Dance' or 'dancing'. But this didn't feel enough for a name. And so I prayed to the Great Spirit to guide me to the name for my table, and it named itself! I'o or Great Spirit / Divine Mystery / The All That Is. I'o Kahula ~ the Great Mystery Dancing. And isn't that what it's... all about?! This name, i'o kahula, that I speak every day, reminds me of the divine dance that this practice of ancient temple style Hawaiian body work truly is.

07.01.2022 Yesterday I received an incredible and long-overdue bodywork session with the grounded and gifted Ahren Dreaming at the Light Centre For Transformation and it has deeply reminded my bones, my fascia, my nervous system, and the tender spaces in my heart, how valuable and vital it is to unwind and nourish my body in this way. It's not a luxury, it's a necessity.
