04.01.2022 On the Feast of the Assumption we look for guidance from the Blessed Virgin Mary who was taken up to heaven because her body was too sacred to be left on earth. In some cultures, it is popular to wear blue to mass in honour of Our Lady. Blue represents truth and clarity, which is also the colour of the sky and symbolises heaven. As we celebrate the Assumption, we ask our Blessed Mother Mary to guide, protect and care for us #feastoftheassumption #ionacollegegeelong
