Remember if your child has flipped their lid "offline brain" then their ability to hear you, reason or make appropriate judgements or decisions is almost non-existent. ... . This is when being present, waiting and re-directing firmly but not angrily is most effective. Wait for your child to come to you. Wait until your child can reach their "Thinking Brain" and then talk about what happened, create the narrative and co-regulate.
