24.01.2022 Don’t ever lose sight of what matters most. There’s a reason you started this in the first place.

22.01.2022 #YOLO Investing while you’re young. One of the biggest hurdles is looking long term whilst everything around us is instantaneous. ... Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Afterpay, Netflix. We are in the Information Age. Our lives are built around Now with not much thought to Later Previously - We waited for catch-ups not status updates to find out about our friend’s lives. We processed films to get photos from our holidays rather than checking Insta. We saved and paid cash. We recorded shows on VHS and sat through ad-breaks to watch our favourite shows But investing is hard! There’s no quick fix. Compound growth takes time! How do I deal with it?? To paraphrase the great man W.Buffet - someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago Remember no one will see the hard work when you reach success. Hopefully by then you won’t even notice those still sweating in the sun..

22.01.2022 What an amazing shot from Rob Puliuvea Photo Take a step back and look for the beauty in life when times seem bad.

21.01.2022 Success doesn’t happen alone. Here’s my list of people you need on your side..

21.01.2022 Ever heard the saying rent money is dead money? I’m here to tell you they are WRONG! We have evolved past this dated ideology. ... Provided you are investing your funds into assets then renting can be an excellent strategy to grow your wealth. Read on

20.01.2022 Question: Recessions, stimulus, pandemics, riots. Do they have an impact on property prices?!?! Answer: Yes, they all have an impact in some way on the property market...... BUT tell you what! - NONE of them have a greater impact on YOUR success than your OWN personal decisions. What you REALLY should be asking is - do I really need that dual cab hilux? Do I really need to afterpay that Croatian holiday? Start focusing more on what you CAN control. Rather than what you CAN’T.

20.01.2022 There’s plenty of time to invest when I’m older Please - if you’re young and feel this way then take a look at this pretty graph. Assumptions 10% growth. ... Just stop and think. Person 1: Less effort Less $ down = Greater return If there’s one thing to understand in wealth creation it’s Compound Interest

19.01.2022 Never thought I’d see the day. Seeing 1/2/3 years fixed home loan at... wait for it... 1.99%... Low interest environment is here to stay. Watch for asset price inflation over the coming years.

18.01.2022 The people who have done well in real estate are generally the ones who have bought..

17.01.2022 The construction stimulus announced had the potential to be quite a good policy. Unfortunately it’s rather underwhelming.... Not many will be completing a $150k renovation earning less than $125k/yr. Also the hopes of having plans, approvals and contracts in place for a new house or major renovation within 6 months are rather slim. This will help those who were already in the planning process of building or renovating. Hopefully keeps a few builders afloat.

17.01.2022 It’s all about perspective. Things are never as good or as bad as what they seem.

15.01.2022 The Tap Stays On To paraphrase Oprah: YOU get more $$, YOU get more $$ and YOU get more $$... Remember when I said Gov is going to do whatever it takes to ensure the $7trillion tied up in Aus Property won’t devalue? After this decision you’re going to see a lot of comments like: Great for property, common sense prevails, good news for borrowers. What does this all really mean? Basically it’s gone back to borrower beware. The onus will be on the borrower to ensure they can afford loans etc. Rather than banks scrutinising spending habits like they have recently. It will mean credit flow increases. The safety net under property prices will lift. It’s unlikely to see huge crashes. Do I think it’s a good idea? No clue.. Great if you’re looking to lend. Although I do feel as if the $70million of taxpayer money used on the Royal Commission into Irresponsible Lending has basically been pissed up the wall. Global recession + scrapping of responsible lending policy.. what could possibly go wrong? All I know is cut the noise, learn the rules of the game and focus on your own backyard. Ensure your finances are solid, borrow within your means and KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid!) https://www.afr.com//responsible-lending-laws-to-be-axed-2

06.01.2022 Buying Blind. Sight Unseen. ... Interstate Investing. It isn’t as dangerous and risky as what it sounds like.

05.01.2022 Things the world needs less of: Drivers who tailgate Web page pop-ups that begin playing automatically People who put supplement store stickers on their car to let you know they attend the gym... Photoshopped property ads on realestate.com See more

03.01.2022 I was always someone who struggled for clarity when making purchasing decisions. So adopted this approach.... Works for simple people like me! Take a read

02.01.2022 There is absolutely no substitute for action. Talk is cheap if you don’t back it up with taking the leap. Unfortunately the few that make some small meaningful changes now will be called lucky later in life. It’s always the way. ... Question is what are YOU going to do??

If you’re anything like me originally then you’d be shit scared feeling like everyone is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. ... Who has your interests at heart? For every one quality professional there is another bunch just itching to get into your back pocket. I can help. 01.01.2022 All about perspective. Sometimes during these difficult times it’s hard to see the beauty in the world. Of course, if we stop and pause, we see that beauty is in fact all around us. ... What an awesome shot via MR Drone Photography
