18.01.2022 Improved Production Queensland has been added to the list of categories set to contest the fourth round of The Shannons Nationals series at Queensland Raceway. ...The event will be Improved Production's third round of their 2019 championship which started at Morgan Park earlier this year. Shannons Nationals Director Michael Smith said it was exciting to have Improved Production Queensland as part of the fourth round of the Nationals in 2019. "This year's events are going to be bigger and better than ever and we are delighted to welcome Improved Production Queensland to the line-up at Queensland Raceway," Smith said. "Improved Production Queensland will join a host of exciting categories as part of our fourth round, including the new TCR Australia Series which is already proving very popular with competitors and fans alike. "Some of Queensland's best drivers will be on show at QR and we can't wait until early August for the event to begin." Improved Production Queensland's President Drew Lawrence echoed Smith's sentiments. "We can't wait to get out at Queensland Raceway for The Nationals," said Lawrence. "The Nationals is growing each year and it's great to be invited to contest this round alongside the likes of the new TCR Australia series. 18.01.2022 In the final heat today we've seen something not seen for a while at an IPRA Nationals. Hislop being beaten, and comfortably at that. Improved Production Racing... Association of WA driver Peter Major looks a serious threat, beating Hislop home by 6 seconds in the last heat this weekend. However, due to that stall yesterday he'll start third behind John Callegari and Ray Hislop in the final later this afternoon. We're set for a great duel for this years title. It all happens at 4pm local time. (7pm NSW/Vic.TAS, 6:30pm SA, 6pm QLD & 5:30pm NT) See more

04.01.2022 FROM THE NATIONAL ADMINISTRATOR It has been a challenging time for everybody and the IPRA Aus Executive Committee hopes you are coping in what has been an adverse year for motorsport. The Executive Committee this year has had a series of video conferences to meet and work through a number of issues that have arisen.... One of the key issues was to clarify the rule set around blocks, following the Motorsport Australia Eligibility Committee’s interpretation of the word derived in the current rules. The Eligibility Committee’s interpretation was quite broad and could have produced consequences that were unintended when the rules were written.....More at http://ipraaus.com.au
