25.01.2022 What a great night is was for the division 2 grand finals held at Ipswich last Saturday night Congratulations to all the Ipswich teams who made it through We won 5 titles from 7 games Awesome achievement 16 ladies, 23 mixed, prem ladies, ladies c and 40 ladies were premiers Ladies b and 30 ladies runners up... 25.01.2022 UPDATE Good morning last night the Prime Minister of Australia has closed all indoor sporting venues as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic currently sweeping the nation. We are unsure how long we will be closed for but we appreciate the need for public safety in these very uncertain times.... Please note we will continue to update our players and supporters throughout the closure and as soon as we can open the doors again we look forward to seeing you all back in the centre This is a tough time for everyone and together we will get through. 24.01.2022 What a weekend of Cricket at IPSWICH INDOOR SPORTS CENTRE Our first weekend of Zones is done and dusted for the 22 Men, 35 Men and 45 Men. The 22 Men’s... division was a tight competition, with lots of close games. In the end the final was battled out between the North Brisbane Pirates and Western Storm with Western Storm proving too good in the end, defeating North Brisbane 95 to 87. Daniel Ost from Western Storm took out not just the Player of the Final award, but also the Player of the Series medal too! Check out the 2021 Qld 22 Men’s team selected from this event, to be coached by Rob Boiston. The 45 Men’s Division was also a tight comp... the grand final was played between Central Brisbane and Gold Coast. Central Brisbane got off to a great start, hitting 108 in the first innings. Gold Coast chased their target strongly but fell just short, hitting a respectable 101. Wayne Brand from Central Brisbane was awarded the 45 Men’s Player of the Series and Dimitri Comino from Central Brisbane took home the Player of the Final. Check out the Qld 45 Men’s team selected from this weekend below, to be coached by Rod Jenkins and managed by Grant Macquarrie. The 35s Division was strongly contested throughout the weekend with Gold Coast and Western Storm battling it out in the GF. In the end, Western Storm came away with the win.. the end score was 111 to 103. Brendan Kleidon from Western Storm took out the Player of the Final honours and Phil Tunnicliffe from the Gold Coast was awarded the Player of the Series. A strong Qld 35 Men’s team was selected to be coached by Craig Window and managed by Jay Shannon! A huge thanks to Kevin Ala-Outinen, Leah Ala-Outinen and the crew at IPSWICH INDOOR SPORTS CENTRE for a fantastic facility on the weekend. This Friday sees the start of the next Zones Carnival - our 40 Men and 50 Men’s divisions. Who will take home the trophies this weekend!??

24.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS - Current Status and Measures in place at Ipswich Indoor Sports Centre 16/3/2020 At this stage games will be played as scheduled.... Our focus is maintaining a safe environment for our players and the wider community to continue to enjoy their sport. We will continue to ensure we are operating in line with the advice provided by the State and federal governments, as it relates to indoor centres. We are keeping up to date with any changes to the status of this ongoing issue via Queensland Health and the most current status updates as they arise. If you are unwell, then please stay at home.

19.01.2022 Congratulations everyone. We are touched by the support for us in these most difficult times. We are closely monitoring the government restrictions and the impact these restrictions will have on us. Our focus has always been the health and well-being of our Staff, Patrons and the Community.... As part of our reopening there are a number of changes that need to be made and we will endeavour to open as soon as practical ensuring all safety measures are met and Government guidelines are followed. Our date at this stage for reopening is Monday 13th July. If restrictions are lifted before this date, we will endeavour to be ready and advise all. We will be in contact with the teams in the next coming weeks so you can advise if you are ready to start the new competition. Look forward to seeing you all in the very near future.
