22.01.2022 Huge shout out to all those who attending our service today. Thank you to the Catafalque Party, members of 9FSB RAAF Base Amberley. Thank you to the Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding and Councillors. Thank you to Ms Jennifer Howard and Representatives from Mr Neumann MP's Office and Mr Madden MP Office. Thank you to all Assn's and Group who layed wreaths, especially the schools. Thank you to Deputy President Michael Blaine for being the MC and Padre Peter Woodward, Mrs Krystel Wilson & Peter Clem. Huge shout out to Piper Joe and bugler Mr Josh Smith. Also our very own woman's Aux ladies for supplying a light lunch. Great feedback has been received. 02.01.2022 Any man who dons a uniform, picks up a weapon and fights to defend this country, is, in my honest opinion, a genuine HERO. I don't give a rip what cheque book ...journalism try's to do in its effort to discredit the actions of any soldier, let them pick up a weapon and face down am enemy, who, don't have a rule book to fight to, they cut off the heads of innocent people with butter knives and put it on you tube FFS. I have NEVER been more ashamed of our Government and our so called leaders than I was yesterday, what a dark day in our history, to see our brave fighting men and women, thrown under the bus, by the very Government that tasked them to do the job. I come from a long line of proud Military service men, and I will discourage my children from entering the service, as Australia no longer has their back, and I would not blame any service personnel who put in their papers after yesterday, we have Verterans killing themselves daily, because they can not get the help they need, meanwhile, J.W.Howard, the man who buddied up with George W Bush to go to war, sits back on over a million dollars a year as a PENSION. IT IS DISGRACEFUL. Australia, you should hang your heads in shame, or stand a post and show a little back bone. To our service personnel, I personally apologise for any hurt that being made scapegoats for our pathetic Government and its total lack of leadership may have caused. You have my eternal gratitude.
