25.01.2022 I just love being able to connect with our BREMER and IPSWICH FORUM members and some of our other FORUM groups during this time of isolation (without leaving the house). However, it will never replace the adrenalin rush that we get from meeting face-to-face and speaking and presenting to an actual live audience. However, this fun FB post gives a little idea of what can go wrong in such online video conferencing.

12.01.2022 Forum Members are encouraged to practice a variety of speaking styles. The Community: Heads-up segment used recently in Ipswich Forum improved persuasive speaking skills while spreading the word about something important in the community. Member, Cora, took this opportunity to inform about a group of volunteers she is proud to be involved with - Days for Girls. Women from Ipswich to Boonah, who dedicate time to creating and supplying individual packages for disadvantaged young girls in other countries dealing with lack of feminine hygiene. We are proud of you Cora! Check out her group - daysforgirls.org
