25.01.2022 Our good friends who we have a strong relationship with in Bali are continuing to do amazing things even with the shutdown and restrictions. We thought we'd share this video by One Heart Church Bali! Not only are they preparing and delivering about 40 care packages a week to some of the poorest families in the surrounding villages but Michael and Aniq are bringing the classroom to them as they visit kids who'd normally be attending Hope School. So exciting to that this week t...he Health Clinic will open and I'm sure our great supporters HEST Paramedical will love to see this aswell. HEST kindly donated a large first aid kit earlier this year which John and Made took back to the school. We love watching the constant progress and growth that the school and community is going through. We continue to send our love to them all including everyone at Hope School, Compassion Bali and Pro-vision International.

22.01.2022 At this year's Ipswich Cares Dinner, after hearing about Hope School that we've supported for many years in Bali, Kim & Darren Cowan from HEST Paramedical enquired what First Aid equipment they had. They've had little to no First Aid gear so Kimberly and Darren very generously packed up a kit and it was presented to John & Made Stevens today to take back to the school. Thank you Kim & Darren, John Made Stevens were certainly appreciative of your generosity and happy to now ...be equipped for any incidents that may happen in the school from time to time. #hestparamedical #firstaidkit #hopeschool #bali #ipswichcares #gratitude

20.01.2022 Hi friends, David Morrison who is the founding member of Ipswich cares and someone who has served our community for over 20 years is going through a very difficult time. This week the house where David and his wife Susan along with her parents live burnt to the ground and they lost everything. On top of that, David suffered a heart attack and is currently in hospital. As you could imagine this is a very stressful situation and stress is something that David can't afford right... now. Their family is in a tough situation and we want to help. If you would like to make a donation, we have set up a go-fund-me where you can make a donation that will go directly to David and his family. You can also make donations through Westside community Care.

16.01.2022 Every year a group of passionate people walk 50kms across Ipswich to celebrate our community and promote a life that is generous towards others. We were proud ...to provide the walkers with a hearty meal at the end of their walk recently and attend their fundraising dinner last night. Since 2007, Ipswich Cares has been able to reach beyond our community of Ipswich and help people in the most vulnerable situations #ipswichcares #ipswichqld #cityofipswich

13.01.2022 Hi everyone, we have made the decision to postpone the annual 50km walk till 2021. Although it is sad that the event won't go ahead this year, the safety and wellbeing of our community is our main priority. Stay safe everyone.

04.01.2022 This morning I had the pleasure in being invited by SPLC Principal Mr Craig Schmidt & Pastor Matthew Wilksch to the Senior School Assembly. St Peters Lutheran College Springfield, a massive supporter over the years, recently held a Free Dress Day to raise funds for Ipswich Cares. They were able to raise a massive $495.50 which they kindly presented this morning. It's always a pleasure visiting the school and talking to the students about the amazing projects and initiatives t...hat are made possible with support such as theirs. Thank you to Craig, Matt and the whole school community for their support in partnering with us to make a difference to the lives of many. #stpeterslutherancollege #springfield #freedressday #fundraising #ipswichcares

04.01.2022 A big thank you for the generous support provided in 2019 to Ipswich Cares by these amazing local businesses, community groups and churches .

03.01.2022 Thank You Lewis. It was amazing to spend a few days discussing some of the world's issues and how we can do our bit to inspire, lead and impact our communities to make this world a better place. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future and continuing to work together to impact the youth of our community. #lewisramsaymagic #passionandpurpose #ipswichcares #compassionaustralia #thankyou Compassion Australia

02.01.2022 Dear community One of our long term community leaders, David Morrison, has had a tragic time of late. David had a heart attack and the house he has been living ...in, burned to the ground on the same night, Sunday Night. He and Susan were staying in a granny flat and they didn't have their own insurance and are still to find out if their contents will be covered. Anyway, David and Susan have basically lost everything, David is in hospital getting treatment at present and he doesn't have work. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to help David and Susan get back on their feet and contribute towards their rent, please let me know. God bless you, Phil Cutcliffe
