21.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS: As of Thursday, 11 September 2019 (yesterday), the Supreme Court of Queensland is trialling a Wills and Estates List to effect the expeditious resolution of proceedings brought in respect of a Will or the Estate of a deceased person. The purpose of the list is to ensure judicial supervision comes at the earliest stage possible in an estate matter and to reduce the costs of such proceedings. His Honour Justice Boddice will manage the Wills and Estates List. More detailed information will be emailed to all members early next week

21.01.2022 The IDLA remind its members that there is a proposal to build a rail line from Calvert (near Rosewood) to Kagaru (near Beaudesert). Any person buying in the area should be informed of the possibility of having a railway line near their property. The proposal uses the existing track from Toowoomba to Calvert, so the current rail line (eg through Gatton) may become much more active....
