23.01.2022 Important Public Service Announcement. Must Read!!! It has been brought to our attention that our small amount of our clients is causing disruptions in and around Darling Street East, West Street and Martin Street Woodend in the form of parking illegally and littering to name only two. Due to our facilities lack of parking we understand that people are parking wherever they can find a spot, the neighboring businesses would prefer if our clients did not occupy car spaces desig...nated for their clients only, in which we fully support. We also need to address the amount of food that has been dropped/thrown and then left to litter the streets surrounding not only our building but the entire block. We have had to send workers to pick up the mess left. As majority of our staff are volunteers they have not been trained to deal with these issues that we now face. Please be mindful that we are here to provide a free service to help our community with the produce they may not normally be able to afford at their local supermarkets. Due to the negative impact that this has had we have had no choice but to cancel all trucks and deliveries until further notice. As a result, we will only be supplying the food hampers until these issues have been resolved. We want to thank all our clients for their support and our hardworking volunteers and our neighbors for the patience and understanding at this time. We hope to have this solved quickly and back to giving the help we know is needed in our community. See more

22.01.2022 Good evening. We have been issued a permit from Council to return back to Darling Street for hampers. The permit allows us to cone off a potion of Darling Street for the holding area we allocate for the hamper line. By being able to do so we will return to the normal drive through system for hampers. This is a huge win for us and the community as hampers can be processed faster and more efficiently. Hampers will start at 9am and will go until 2pm or earlier if we run out of ...food. Free section is still on West Street and will be available from 9am until 2pm on days that food is available . This area will close at 2pm sharp to allow West Street to be cleared of our traffic to help elevate the traffic strain West Street and Martin Street face with school traffic. These changes will be effective from Friday 5th June 2020. Please read carefully to minimise confusion on arrival. Thank you all for your patience.

21.01.2022 TO ALL OUR CLIENTS: From Monday 11 January 2021 our HAMPER PRICE WILL INCREASE TO $35.00 with membership still $5.00. We have tried to keep our prices the same for the last 10 years but with all the increases in Food and running cost we are forced to increase it by $5.00. The Directors

21.01.2022 Public Notice. Please be mindful of the changes made around the building. Council has done line marking and our holding area on Darling Street has been changed to 30minute parking only. You will need to take note of how long you have been in this area while waiting for hampers because fines will be issued. We will try to process as fast as possible but as you know deliveries take priority over hampers to allow truck turn arounds to be minimal.

21.01.2022 Thank you to Foodbank Queensland Ltd for your support with helping some schools in Ipswich area. Here are 2 children enjoying some toast and bananas at their breakfast club. This school has been catering to 150-200 students and parents a day. This is an amazing program not possible if not for Foodbank Queensland Ltd for donating the food and the amazing volunteers that cook and prepare the food.

21.01.2022 FREE FREE FREE FREE SECTION WILL BE OPEN AT 9am. HAMPERS WILL START AT 9AM UNTIL WE RUN OUT.

19.01.2022 To our clients: For those who are messaging for hampers, we are re-opening next Tuesday 12 January 2021 from 9AM - 2 PM

17.01.2022 A massive shout out and thank you to the team at Bunnings West Ipswich. The team at our local Bunnings recently completed a food drive and graciously donated this haul. We appreciate this and it’s especially amplified during this pandemic.

17.01.2022 DUE TO THE SOARING TEMPERATURES NEXT WEEK WE WILL BE CHANGING OUR OPERATING HOURS. MONDAY- FRIDAY (EXCLUDING WEDNESDAY) HAMPERS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 7am -12pm.... THIS WILL BE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. THESE HOURS WILL STAY IN PLACE UNTIL WE CLOSE FOR OUR CHRISTMAS BREAK. LAST DAY OF OPERATIONS WILL BE THE 18th DECEMBER.

10.01.2022 UPDATE We will doing hampers today. We are trialling a drive through system. Customers will remain in their cars and our staff will take their details from outside their vehicle. No one will have access to inside the centre, any walk ins will be given a apples and bread box as that is all the free food we have on site. Any walk ins wanting a hamper will be asked to wait in a separate area while they are process. Please be aware that we are still operating as 1 hamper per hou...sehold per week, if you have gotten a hamper less then a week ago you will not be eligible to receive another until a 7 day period from the last hamper your household received. Please remain patient as we have never attempted a drive through system before. Hampers will start from 9am.

07.01.2022 Public announcement Must Read. Once again we are receiving complaints from our neighbouring businesses that some people are leaving rubbish in front of their business. It seems some are taking the FREE ice creams out of their boxes and just dumping the boxes on the footpaths. Others are eating the ice creams and leaving wrappers and boxes still with ice creams in box on footpath. Please take everything with you or bring it back to our outside bins. Please have respect for other businesses in our area so that we can continue helping the community. The Directors.

04.01.2022 This is fantastic. Keep up the great work.
