25.01.2022 Every year we celebrate headspace Day during Mental Health week. This is our national day of support for the mental health and wellbeing of all young Australians. This year’s theme is around the 7 healthy headspace tips (get in to life, learn skills for tough times, create connections, eat well, stay active, get enough sleep and cut back on alcohol and other drugs). For headspace day this year, on Wednesday 14th October our Queensland headspace centres are running 4 online c...lasses from 10am to 2pm. The classes include: 10am - Get Creative by learning to draw and paint 11am Stay Active with some Zumba 12pm Cook Up a Storm 1pm Stretch it Out with some afternoon Yoga You can join in on any of these online classes via this Zoom Webinar Link: https://zoom.us/j/98216052544 #mentalhealthawareness #MentalHealthWeek #healthyheadspace

We are reducing our capacity in centre, so you will be offered telehealth as a first option when scheduling appointments. If you would like to see someone in person, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We will be asking anyone who comes in centre to complete a COVID screen in advance, wear a mask and check in via a provided QR code Thank you for helping keep everyone safe

19.01.2022 Today is Day for Daniel, Australia's largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection and harm prevention. Normally, the Ipswich community gathers for Walk for Daniel. This year looks a bit different and whilst we can't participate in the walk, we have joined community organisations in placing red footsteps outside our centre to show our support #dayfordaniel2020
