20.01.2022 Winter Newsletter :) You’ll note a couple of things in the newsletter and we have some more to add..... With COVID still very active we have postponed our AGM until at least November. We will make a decision in November about a date etc. Members will receive this notification via email.... We have also had some interim changes to our Management Committee. Annette has recently provided her resignation as Secretary and Rebecca Larkin will kindly take on the role (she already contributes greatly to the admin functions of IKPS.. thanks Reb!). Annette will continue to provide administration for membership. Maureen has also resigned as Treasurer and rescuer to take care of her health, which is incredibly important and must come first. Peter Luker has offered to take on this role also, as he has a great understanding of the financial functions also. Thank you Maureen for your contribution and we wish you all the best. If you have any questions please get in touch via facebook or email [email protected]

04.01.2022 Happy birthday to my human mum - Trudi - who took me into care as a tiny pouch bub when my koala mum couldn’t be saved after being attacked by a dog. Thank you for the sleepless nights, the cuddles, the second chance and for loving me enough to set me free

01.01.2022 Lexi the koala finished her rehabilitation at Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and was released onto our property today! Found cold and alone in the middle of th...e road in Toogoolawah, rescuers transported her to RSPCA QLD Wildlife Hospital for treatment. After being cared for by a specialised wildlife carer, Lexi was then sent to Koala Kindy at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, where she built up her strength, socialised and learned all the necessary skills for life in the wild. Big thanks to IKPS - Ipswich Koala Protection Society, A.R.R.O.W Wildlife rehabilitation, RSPCA QLD and Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors for all the work they do for these precious animals, and a special thanks to Marilyn and Max for bringing Lexi here.

01.01.2022 Amazing - thank you
