24.01.2022 Sadly, this coming Saturday, for the first time in 15 years, there will be no parkrun anywhere in the world. We will share more from parkrun Founder Paul Sinton...-Hewitt later today. We will get through this, together #loveparkrun

22.01.2022 Check out the (not)parkrun results on the Ipswich (not)parkrun page https://www.parkrun.com.au/ipswichqld/results/notparkrun/ Who else logged a run?

19.01.2022 CANCELLATION NOTICE With regret, the decision has been taken to cancel Ipswich Qld parkrun this weekend (28 November). Thank you to the volunteers who put up their hand for the relaunch event; your offers were appreciated. ... Please spread the word around the various groups and watch this space for more information about the upcoming weeks. Apologies for any inconvenience. ::Kris

18.01.2022 Hi Ipswich parkrun, Perhaps we could top this leaderboard? (Last week we had 15 of us submit a time). All you need to do is log into your parkrun profile scroll down to (not)parkrun and type in how long it took you to complete a 5k run this week. Easy! ... When will parkrun return? And if you’re wondering when real parkrun will be back, the parkrun podcast ‘free, weekly, timed’ has an update. The episode from August 7 details the plan at the moment. Anyone want to guess a date for parkrun Australia’s return? Comment below!

17.01.2022 Update: Ipswich Qld parkrun is cancelled this weekend. With luck, Ipswich Qld parkrun will relaunch this weekend. Just awaiting final permission from ICC. Due to a cancellation, BARCODE Scanners are required. Preference would be to have two more volunteers for this role. Can be a pointy end runner or someone finishing in about 30 mins. Please comment below or DM with your name and barcode number.... Please take note of the items raised in the email from parkrun HQ. Please watch this page for updates. ::Kris

16.01.2022 Saturday is parkrun day!

15.01.2022 The first chilly morning of the year saw my 5k effort zoom by, hope the rest of the community are kicking their fitness goals. #loveparkrun #ipswichqldparkrun.

11.01.2022 Sharing the joy of having a place to record our runs. Where did you (not)parkrun this week?

10.01.2022 Exciting news. Already, the wonderful community of Ipswich Qld parkrun are reaching out to fill the roster. Thank you. Shall update the roster as the day progresses.

10.01.2022 Hands up if this is you!

10.01.2022 Just know you are missing parkrun related content. And go...

10.01.2022 Please note. Wishing our community a safe, healthy few weeks. Keep an eye on this page for further updates.

10.01.2022 Good Morning Park Peeps, We are needing to find another Marshal this morning as our volunteer can’t make it... Anyone, anyone? Thx Mel

08.01.2022 This week 0 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 0 were first timers and 0 recorded new Personal Bests. As much as we're missing our parkrun, those are the stats we need to see. Please don't organise a group run. Enjoy a solo run or walk. Take a stroll with your immediate household family. But please don't gather your gang together. #forgetyourbarcode

06.01.2022 This clip added a giggle to my morning. Happy Monday parkrun pals. Stay safe and have a great week. #loveparkrun

05.01.2022 Happy Saturday. Just a reminder no parkrun today. Keep safe. ::K

On behalf of everyone from our Ippy parkrun community I’d like to say thank you so much for all of the time you’ve invested with us. You’ve done a wonderful job and your bubbly personality and lovely smile will be sorely missed. Please come back and visit soon and we wish you all the best in all of your future endeavours. 04.01.2022 Holding pattern to be continued. Always grand to receive an update.

04.01.2022 Looking forward to seeing you doing your notparkrun. Not as good as parkrun but it’s a reasonable substitute.

04.01.2022 A statement from Tom Williams, Chief Operating Officer at parkrun #loveparkrun

04.01.2022 Please be advised that we are experiencing a technical glitch which means that this mornings results will be delayed. Hopefully this will be resolved soon and we can process them shortly. Thank you for your patience.

03.01.2022 Overall, the message is clear. Take care going forward and soon enough parkrun will return.

03.01.2022 Saturday morning will be different without the community; however, right now, right here, this is sensible advice.
