Excell, who has qualifications in Civil Engineering, has moved into the role after holding the position of IPWEA South Australian Division President from 2016 to 2017. She is also Executive Director of the Australian Road Research Boards Australia and New Zealand Driverless Vehicle Initiative. Myles Lind is a Chartered Professional Engineer with career expertise in risk management. He has taken the IPWEA Australasia Vice President position after serving as IPWEA New Zealand Division President during 2019. He is also Lead of Asset Management at Auckland Transport. I am delighted to welcome this Trans-Tasman leadership of Rita Excell and Myles Lind to their new roles and look forward to working with them, said David Jenkins, IPWEAs CEO. They each bring several years of diverse IPWEA experience to the Board as our members enter an exciting era of emerging technological change. Both are highly respected in their fields in asset management, transport infrastructure and change management.
