25.01.2022 The effects of the COVID-19 global pandemic are continuing to be felt throughout every community around the world. This is most certainly true for the many projects we support across the island of Ireland and here in Australia, the pandemic is devastating and the projects that need our help are challenged with their income streams all but dried up as they strive to assist those in need. 17.01.2022 ()5 min improvement! Today completed the Irish Run the World Virtual 5k Charity Run. Met up with the Japan organizer Padraig MacColgain, his work colleague ...Mason and Andrew Farmer at Futakotamagawa Park Starbucks and we ran the parkrun course. Am happy to report that after about 6 months of average 41.5 minutes for a 5k in practice, today - and in my Luna running sandals trying to cut across the long grass of the FTG course - I ran in 36:40, a near 5 minute improvement!
