20.01.2022 Navigating the Maze of High School Wednesday 28th April As promoted during the recent Parent Information Evenings, Mr Billingsley and Mrs Tonkin will be running two sessions at: 1.00 - 1.30pm, after students are dismissed and during staff lunch break, before the Parent Teacher Interviews. Students can have a lunch break on the grass outside the PRC. 4.00 - 4.30pm, the repeat session is during the staff dinner break of the Parent Teacher Interviews. ... These sessions are aimed at Families who are new or unfamiliar with the current WA Education system. Parents may be from a different country of origin and this is your first experience of High School in Australia, or parents may be unsure about how some aspects of High School within Western Australia have changed since they attended school. These informal sessions aim to help parents understand the High School system within Australia and highlight any areas of difference from other countries in the world. Families of Year 7 11 students who may be the First in Family to go onto TAFE or University are also invited to attend.
