17.01.2022 Someone has recorded me playing mazurka e-mol by Scriabin from the hall. It was a charity concert organised by a charity "Zolotoe serdce" yesterday at Strathfield and I was delighted to perform at this concert. Despite me having fever and a very strong air conditioning there... But a musician cannot be off sick- if I can move I will play piano:) It was also a pleasure to catch up with friends and seat back and watch this video with a cup of tea with lemon and honey after. I like reviewing how I performed analysing what I will work on later... This is what I also motivate my students to do. A musician cannot reach something and stop- we aim to learn all our lives. #scriabin #piano #classicalmusic
16.01.2022 I have provided accompaniment to a grade 8 student today and it was pleasure to receive a nice gift and a card. Good to know that students appreciate what Accompanist does. And I strongly believe (and actually observed it) that a professional accompaniment can result in better overall impression of the student and better exam results!
