15.01.2022 Dear friends and yogis, I will be holding a Chair Yoga workshop via Zoom on Saturday 10 October at 10:30am till 12:00pm. As always the session will include breath work, asana, meditation, relaxation and music. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that will soothe the nervous system, improve your flexibility, strength and focus, whilst providing support. Although excellent in the case of rehabilitation and recovery from injury, it is excellent for all, particularly those who w...ork in an office, teaching you how to take yoga snacks throughout the day from your chair. All major joints and muscle groups will be addressed, with the practice incorporating forward bends, back bends, side bends and twists. Although most postures will be seated, there will be some standing postures using the chair as a prop. The session will conclude with a deeply relaxing yoga nidra guided meditation. The cost is $22 and includes ongoing access to the video recording so you can redo the practice in whole or part whenever suits you and as often as you like. Half the proceeds go to animal charities.
