25.01.2022 Despite the challenging weather today, we had a great day at Euroa and met some lovely people. It's always good to meet people who are new to the area, as well as those who have lived in the country for many years. The country lifestyle hsa so much going for it and we live in a great region. 'Treasure Trader' was today's best seller. We're off to Lancefield next Saturday...hopefully it will be a little warmer!

22.01.2022 All of the beautiful irises have finished flowering but we are now selling the rhizomes. We will be at Lancefield on Saturday and hope to see iris lovers and those looking for a Christmas present for a gardener. The coming rain will be much appreciated by our gardens!

21.01.2022 Christmas is almost here and we will be at 3 markets before then. Our prices will be the usual $8 each; 2 for $15 and we are adding 3 for $20. We will be at Malmsbury this Sunday and then Lancefield (and Euroa) on Saturday 21st December. Irises are hardy. They can be planted now, and will make it through the summer, or they can be kept out of the ground and planted later. Perhaps a good Christmas gift? Merry Christmas everyone.

16.01.2022 Last week we had a great time at the Lancefield Farmers Market. Thanks to all of the great gardeners we met. This Sunday we will be at Yarra Glen with a range of irises in pots.

14.01.2022 The recent rain has been amazing and the irises are flourishing. Because of this, we have decided to start our market sales a bit earlier. Hanging Rock 14 March Euroa or Riddells Creek 21 March (to be confirmed) Lancefield and kilmore 28 March (Kilmore to be confirmed) Yarra Glen 5 April We will be selling a number of irises at $6 each or 4 for $20. And our usual prices of $8 each or 2 for $15 will be extended to most being 3 for $20.Hope to see people there so we can all get them planted by the end of April to get the best flowers happening later in the year. These are a couple of photos of some that we will bring along. The range will vary at different markets. See more

13.01.2022 Hi fellow iris fans. A heads up that we are going to the Kilmore Scout Market tomorrow and Yarra Glen on Sunday and having an Easter sale. The irises on sale will be $6.00 each or 4 for $20.00. These are healthy but we need to thin them out. There will also be others at our regular prices. Hope to see you there and, if not, happy Easter and happy gardening.

12.01.2022 Hi fellow gardeners. What a great time of year this is.I love watching the iris' 'baby bumps' develop into these gorgeous flowers. I have a few new ones which is always exciting. We are starting our markets this weekend. We will be at Euroa tomorrow and will have our first time at Malmsbury Farmers Market on Sunday. Next weekend is Lancefield and later on, off to Yarra Glen. Our prices haven't changed but we will have a few that will be $10. These ones have been in the pots for a couple of years but have multiplied well...the flowers are the same, just a bit shorter than they will be once re-homed into the ground. Hope to see you there. We may do a couple more markets, depending how many pots we have.

08.01.2022 Hello fellow iris lovers. It's that time of the year when we come out of 'iris hibernation' as the first buds are coming into bloom. Last year was a great year for flowering. Lots of our customers commented on how beautiful their iris display had been. Let's hope this year is as impressive for us all. We are beginning our markets on the 20th October at Euroa. Then we will be at Lancefield on 27th and Cup weekend we're off to Mansfield on the Saturday and Yarra Glen the follow...ing day -Sunday 4th November. We've potted up some of the popular varieties from last year as well as some new ones. What we take to a market just depends on what pots are in flower. If people are after some different varieties, we will be selling rhizomes at markets after these and will post some dates later on. We don't lift them until they have finished flowering and the new roots have erupted. The photos are our irises in the garden last year and one of last year's Lancefield market day. Hope to see you at one of these lovely markets. See more
