25.01.2022 New hard-hitting single from Áine Tyrrell. Galway born but Australian domiciled, Áine has been writing and performing from the heart the length and breadth of Australia. Making contacts and co-productions with many different communities but finding many political and cultural intersections with Australia's First Nation people. This new record pulls no punches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rVhzaPwbH4&feature=youtu.be

25.01.2022 This week’s Festival Film Flashback to stream comes from 2015. As the Troubles hit 1970s Belfast, young rebel and music lover Terri Hooley opens a record shop in the most bombed half-mile of Europe. He gathers a motley crew to bring his city back to life - whatever else is happening. Based on a true story, Good Vibrations is a great flick with heart, soul and very, very good sounds. Perfect to round up a rainy weekend.
