23.01.2022 Oh, No! I have woken with a very sore throat, so I am applying the Precautionary Principle and cancelling tonight’s class. Which means no classes until at least April, as there was no class 26 March due to a prior commitment. As the situation develops, I will either extend our dates into April to make up, or hold the balance of block passes until whenever we are able to resume. Stay well, stay grounded, look after yourself and each other.

02.01.2022 I hope you are all keeping well. It’s been a strange and surreal and unsettling time. Thank goodness for dancers and creative folks! And time differences that make sense- this is happening 10am Sunday. Might see you there?

02.01.2022 Irissa Dance have been considering what actions to take immediately in response to the COVID19 outbreak. For now, class will continue this week, but please wash your hands when you arrive -soap provided at the basin near the entrance- bring hand sanitiser if you have some, and practice good hygiene during our hour together. If you have been unwell, or in contact with confirmed or suspected cases, please stay away. Class size is limited to 10, so we can maintain safe distance...s. Currently, all cases in Tasmania are linked to international travel. When this changes we will reassess and update you. There is no class on 26 March due to a pre-existing commitment. For detailed information on how you can prevent the spread of the virus and other preparation advice, please follow the Tas Health Department for current guidelines. These are uncertain times, stay grounded, take care of yourself and check in on the vulnerable folks in your communities and networks. See more
