18.01.2022 Round Four done and dusted. Standout effort by Bernie Stack to take Pole and three Race Wins and the Round. Bernie is also the recipient of the IROC "Rob Black Trophy" This makes four different Round Winners of the four Rounds so far, that is variety. Greg Keene was second for the weekend and is now the "2016 Series Champion" with an unassaible lead in the IROC Challenge Series going into the final Round at Winton for the Sports Car Masters, 22-23 October. Below, Rob Black Trophy winner Bernie Stack with Rob's Family in attendance at Mallala.

17.01.2022 Gregg, Holbert, Keyser, Haywood were the names synonymous with 911 RSR's in the '70s. Today we have Rogers, Treffert, Jones, Banz, and Refenning putting on an equally good show. RS Cup by HSR https://youtu.be/IhluscP7_mw

16.01.2022 2017 CALENDAR IROC is pleased to announce the 2017 IROC Challenge Series Calendar. We have negotiated with the Touring Car Masters (TCM) to have four (4) IROC Rounds of the 2017 Series run in conjunction with TCM at Virgin Australia Supercar Championships (VASC) Rounds. The fifth Round is to be confirmed, the most likely date will be in late October.... Based on a minimum of, but not limited to, six cars per round, IROC has secured three Series Entry Contracts with TCM. The IROC will have their own grid, spaced off the back of the TCM grid, TCM having rolling starts. IROC will also run its own Points Score and maintain its own identity. The Calendar includes two Marquee events being the CLIPSAL 500 and Sandown 500 plus the Winton and Queensland Raceway Rounds. Each round includes Fox Sports coverage of all sessions, 2 x practice, qualifying and three races. CLIPSAL and Sandown rounds may also include Network 10 coverage (TBC) IROC cars have often run with TCM in 2015 and 2016 in the Pro-Sport class, but only once as a round of the IROC Challenge Series, being Queensland Raceway this year. IROC Series Commissioners, Sven Burchartz and Greg Keene are supportive of the initiative. The TCM alliance offers the perfect opportunity for IROC to move forward. By being at high caliber VASC events, this lifts the IROC profile and with the grid structure in place, the Series retains its identity. Porsche has a strong history with TCM and now more so with the IROC cars, as a group, adding to the colour and variety of TCM. IROC CALENDAR - 2017 March 2 - 5 CLIPSAL 500 SA VASC / TCM May 19 - 21 Winton Vic VASC / TCM July 28 - 30 Queensland Raceway Qld VASC / TCM September 15 - 17 Sandown 500 Vic VASC / TCM October TBA TBA TBA TBA ENDS

11.01.2022 Hi All, Round Five (and Final) of the 2017 IROC Challenge Series moves to the iconic Bathurst 1000 Meeting October 5 - 8 to be run with the Touring Car Masters grid. Rohan Little has locked in Series Honours following his points haul at Sandown... Rohan Little = 378... Manny Palyaris = 254 Bernie Stack = 226 Sven Burchartz = 218 Stan Adler = 110 Second and third in the Series is still up for grabs! Manny has sold his IROC (the car will not appear with the new owner until the 2018 Series) and Bernie Stack is still rebuilding his car following the Winton incident, so, both being non-starters. and Sven and Stan returning for the final round, the 180 Points on offer will determine the Series Podium. There is Foxtel coverage of all sessions and races at Bathurst. In the coming weeks, we will be presenting the 2018 IROC Schedule and the expansion of the Porsche Racing Series to encompass IROC, Classic Porsche and the new Gruppe "S" Classes.

07.01.2022 Pearler weekend of racing in Round 2 of the IROC Challenge Series at Morgan Park Raceway. Congrats to Terry Knight on winning the round, with Nic Merentis 2nd and Russell Kempnich 3rd. Awesome racing as always between all cars, and we can't wait till round 3 at The Bend Motorsport Park on June 22-23 with AMRS - Australian Motor Racing Series
07.01.2022 IROC Challenge Series Points An interesting weekend for the classic Porsche category at Sydney Motorsport Park, with Greg Keene vaulting into the lead by virt...ue of a clean sweep in the IROC Challenge class. Sven Burchartz's absence from the round allowed Rohan Little to move into second on the points table. In the IROC Classic class, Lachlan Harburg won all four races to wrap up the series - Harburg was ecstatic at the end of the weekend, having never tasted an outright race victory before. The IROC Challenge will conclude at our Winton season finale next weekend.

04.01.2022 The IROC Challenge Series is in action with the Touring Car Masters this weekend, and it was Sven Burchartz who has grabbed the opening race win of the year. Sven led home Bernie Stack and Manny Palyaris in today's 7-lap opener, Rohan Little and Rory O'Neill completing the runners. Unfortunately the Adelaide duo of Greg Keene and Amanda Sparks have had an absolute shocker - not making it to the first race after both endured engine dramas in practice yesterday. ... Two races to come this weekend - watch them live on FOX Sports and Channel 10.

01.01.2022 Hi All, As most would be aware, there was a major incident in TCM/IROC Race Two at Winton involving eight cars.... As a result, Bernie Stack required extrication from his car and medical attention. From the Winton Medical Care Centre, Bernie was transported to Wangaratta Hospital. Scans have shown that Bernie has sustained a fracture of the L1 Vertebrae (Bernie says not serious), both ankles baldly bruised, one sprained. Bernie was released from Hospital today and is on the way home to Adelaide. He is very Pissed-Off that, under medical advice, he will now miss competing in the Finke Rally as recovery will need six weeks!!! Big thanks to Manny & Tom from the SA Structural - IROC Team that have travelled all of Bernies gear back to Gawler (SA) and to Sharon Middleton from Whiteline Racing for the care and support given to Bernie and his family at this time. An unfortunate incident but very proud of the response from the TCM/IROC family.
