12.01.2022 When St Mary’s Church asked me to create a unique baptism bowl stand for them I had a vision instantly of what they needed to bring old into new. The slump glass was provided by Watherong glass with symbols Aboriginal art. The base inspired by ancient triskelion, symbolising land,sea,sky,life,death , rebirth, past, present , future,father, mother,child,and the human trimester of pregnancy. I have created timeless work of art that will be questioned by future generations. Used for baptism, my intentions when creating the base was to put positive energy and love into it so that could be passed onto all that are newly christened.
