12.01.2022 When you take a 150-year event and it suddenly becomes a 50-year event, the damns literally break https://www.yaleclimateconnections.org//michigan-dam-brea/

07.01.2022 Hi Local Government Land, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy as possible. Here's some information Ironbark's approach to real action on climate in the time of Covid-19 and how we'll minimise risks to staff and minimise council project disruption. Essentially we already have systems in place to do nearly all of our work from any location in the world. So projects are still all-systems-go but we can be flexible if you need us to move things around.

02.01.2022 Available now for all of Vic, NSW and SA!

02.01.2022 This administration needs to reassure the youth of this City that you’ll be passing down to us a future that is safe, secure and stable with climate change not proposing any major threats to these factors of wellbeing. Interesting to see the different approaches from councils and community groups regarding climate emergency declarations. Nice work kids of Wanneroo! https://www.communitynews.com.au//council-signs-climate-c/

01.01.2022 Coronavirus and it's impacts generally suck. But there could be silver linings. Under the nationwide lockdown in Italy, traffic congestion has dropped by up to 75%, and air pollution with it. Could Australian councils take the opportunity now and look at planning to fend off the resurgence in car use as people return to work and school? Now's the time to pounce! https://www.theguardian.com//milan-seeks-to-prevent-post-c

01.01.2022 City of Fremantle is moving to permanently "retreat" buildings from Port Beach after the stretch of coastline was devastated by this week's intense WA storm. As Ocean Institute of UWA coastal oceanography Professor Charitha Pattiaratchi says, "The climate change and the sea level rise doesn't happen overnight, it happens slowly over a long period". Expect to see more of this.

01.01.2022 More solar throughout Cairns! Another 1.7MW of rooftop and ground-mounted solar including four mini solar farms across five of its wastewater treatment plants to cut grid electricity consumption by 25 per cent. Nice work Daniel and crew
