25.01.2022 Next stage is all go. Picked a good time to fix the rust and paint the HX, no car events for awhile. Weve started doing a bit of overtime.

25.01.2022 Well our shut down job is complete- removed and replaced 140m of crane rail. Well done to team Iron Horse Engineering, big effort, big hours, not the nicest environment but we got it done. And a massive thanks to the boys from Williams Crane Hire, very good to work with, highly recommended.

25.01.2022 Dont see many of these any more- Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo, 1988 model. In for several repairs before young Aden puts it on the road. Timing belt replacement on these east west engines always fun not much room to get in there. Also replacing CV shafts, strud rod bushes, tie rod ends, all wheel bearings, starter motor, rear engine mount, rear brakes and a general service

23.01.2022 KZ1000ST restoration- after not being able to source lower fork tube bushes anywhere in the world i had to machine some out of a plastic called Monyte, these are 0.5mm thick! I then bonded them to the rechromed tubes and linished them to a perfect fit. Shout out to Radhardchroming for their assistance putting me on to the material

14.01.2022 More work in the General yesterday and last night. Cut and shut on the right side all done, my sculptor/painter Mick B was impressed with my handy work, less work for him now. Little bit of goodness in an otherwise world of doom and gloom at the moment @ Iron Horse Engineering

12.01.2022 Last year we started a full resto on a Kawasaki KZ1000ST 1979 model, well its well on its way back together. These wheels took a lot of sweat to get them to this quality but well worth it. Stripped the old paint off with wire buffs. Then polished the rim edges, masked up and painted the spoke and hub areas then end linished the edges of the spokes to get back the original look. Couple of new Bridgestone tyres, repainted the front disc centres and a new rotor for the rear. More progress shots to come, this thing is going to impress

11.01.2022 Its been a pleasure working on this 57 , rear shock mount upgrade after originals cracked the body work badly, fabricated entire new one and fix to chassis rails, new shorter shocks, welded up cracks in body, replaced rear axle bearings, new water temp gauge.
