23.01.2022 Tasman Whisky A single malt crafted and aged in Ex American Bourbon barrels on Tasmaina’s untainted East Coast. We love the buttery hazelnut tones of this little dram. Is there a better way to relax after a long day with a few sips from the nectar of life whilst overlooking the Tasman Sea from the distillery ?... 23.01.2022 The Bohemian Pilsener Can you do the Fandango ? This Pilsener is a type of pale lager and takes its name from the Czech city of Pilsen, where it was first produced in 1842.... We brew using a traditional European Pilsener malt, backed up with a touch of wheat, giving this beer a pale, yet clean on the palate finish. The Czech republic Saaz hop is the real champion here though, giving aroma and definition found only in this style. A clean, simple malt brew with a aromatic nose and a pleasant dry finish. Perfect for a simple Sunday session or a summer smasher. Magnifico ! The head of this brew is a dense white foam riding the a pale straw coloured body. Normally only found at festivals & at the brewery on tap or the occasion rare bottling run, this brew is now canned for much enjoyment this spring and summer. 16.01.2022 BOILER MAKER LOVE !!! Official shout out time to this likely lad ! He's highlighted our Single Malt Whisky Club Collaboration, where we not only bottled up a fresh batch of Bourbon barrel cask finished Single Malt but created a new Barrel Aged Porter to be matched with the aforementioned as a BOILER MAKER. So, here's the breakdown from the man himself ; I'll be getting my hands on ANY collaboration beer/whisky releases and/or in -house made beer and whisky from any brewery/di...stillery and doing the comparison game. And the first pairing I'm VERY excited to showcase is courtesy of The Single Malt Whisky Club, based in sunny Queensland. This was their August Whisky offer of the month (if my memory serves me correctly).
