22.01.2022 Port Sorell Surf Lifesaving Club athletes took on challenging surf conditions to take out top spots in the overall points score in the Ironoceanseries. Unpredic...table seas made conditions difficult for competitors as they took on the final three races of this nine-race series, held at Burnie Surf Life Saving Club today. Cooper Armistead took out top spot in the Open Male (No Ski) and Taryn Lowe earned 1st place in the u10/u11 Female event. Both had started the day wearing the red leaders rashies. Jordy Armistead finished second in the u12/u13 Male event, only four points behind first place. A huge congratulations to those who placed in the overall series, as well as the Port Sorell team members who participated in earlier rounds. Thanks and congratulations to Burnie Surf Life Saving Club and Penguin Surf Life Saving Club for hosting such a successful and enjoyable event.
