While a nomination does not ensure final selection, it is still an OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT! 16.01.2022 Because of the public holiday on Monday, the maths standard HSC study day has been changed to Tuesday October 6 from 1230 to 3pm.

16.01.2022 Staff/Visitor/Student Car Park. Three of the car spaces closest to the school have been marked today with yellow paint. These three car spaces are for Assisted Transport vehicles only for drop off and pick up. Please do not park in these spots.

Just because this day falls in the middle of the holidays, doesn’t mean we can let it pass without comments from our appreciative students.... unscripted. 15.01.2022 There were a few surprises in store for Year 12 today. Because parents/carers were unable to attend the ceremony, a clap out was organised with Year 11 students and staff. Individual photos were also taken and will be posted out in the holidays. When the video production company edits the video from today, a link will be put up on facebook, next week. Farewell students and our very best wishes go with you. See you back here on October 20 for the first exam.



14.01.2022 Year 9 student Elijah Schofield competed at district level yesterday, in the Lions Youth of the Year competition. He met with stiff competition, but he is to be congratulated on his excellent effort. He has been strongly encouraged to compete in 2021. Well done Elijah! And thank you to English teacher Ms Mamin for accompanying Elijah!

10.01.2022 Ms Heffernan’s year 10 girls PE group, were having an alternate sport because of the weather and enjoyed their boxing hit out session.

10.01.2022 Year 7 students will receive their vaccination cards tomorrow. Could they be filled out and returned to the front office as soon as possible please. NSW Health works with schools to offer human papillomavirus (HPV) and diphtheria-tetanus- pertussis (dTpa) vaccines to Year 7 students in a school-based vaccination program. The first dose will be given on April 26 and the second dose November 1st.

07.01.2022 Wow - a different Year 12 graduation ceremony today. It's been a challenging year for this absolutely wonderful, responsible group of young people, but they have shown perseverance, resilience and a sense of humour to get them through. And in fine style. We wish them all the best for their upcoming HSC. Congratulations Year 12 and happy studying. Year 12 Advisors Mr Graham and Mrs Connor couldn’t have been more proud of their charges. Big thank you to all involved for your assistance in conducting such a moving ceremony.

07.01.2022 In celebration of their completion of Year 12 Physics, Mr Ross organised a visit from a few members of the Newcastle Tesla Enthusiasts Club. The visit is linked to their Electromagnetism Unit but also a bit of fun to sign off the course. The Teslas range in price from $75k for the standard model up to approx $150k drive away. There are currently around 10 thousand in Australia and the range varies from around 350kms up to 500kms. ... Dear Santa.........
