Our Partner Alexis Tercero installed a LORENTZ PS2-4000 system to supply... drinking water to 311 inhabitants of the Zacataloza community in Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua. The inhabitants get 22 m3 (22,000 l) of waterper day from a well 160 m below the ground and through a pipeline of 700 meters to the community. Before the installation of the solar water pumping system, the residents worked very hard, carrying drinking water every day over difficult terrain and up steep slopes and in often cloudy and foggy weather. Alexis Tercero said "The system provides secure and realiable water supply even on very cloudy or rainy days. We are very happy that LORENTZ products have made life easier for this community!
