12.01.2022 The Wollongong Relay For Life Australia is almost here Saturday 12 October 9am 9pm at Beaton park - and the Ambassadors are planning to have a group there. Team Captain Belinda Hughes is seeking Ambassadors who can spend some time there anything from an hour to 12 hours to walk, have fun and support those with cancer or who are cancer carers at this wonderful event. There is food, entertainment, activities and companionship at the event. If you can spare some time please support us as we support the Cancer Council of NSW. 12.01.2022 Special moment at this evenings briefing with our wonderful team leaders presenting Kate Chapman with flowers as she heads off on maternity leave. 11.01.2022 Hello Ambassadors We are currently looking for people to join in our ‘Wollongong Relay for Life - Ambassador Team’, at the Wollongong Relay For Life Australia to be held from 9am to 9pm on Saturday 12 October 2019 at the Kerryn McCann Athletics Centre Beaton Park. You can join them just for a lap or for the full 12 hours, where you can enjoy live entertainment, food stalls, rides and loads of activities. This year the event organisers are hoping to attract 1500 people and r...aise over $150,000 for the Cancer Council NSW. Destination Wollongong General Manager Mark Sleigh is the Proud event patron and Stuart Barnes is the event Chairman embracing the theme ‘Make the Change’. 06.01.2022 Big thanks to Jess, Joyce, Valda, David and Winnifred who volunteered their time today to greet Monday’s visitors as they boarded Explorer of the Seas en route to Wollongong. It’s the third time our ambassadors have visited Overseas passenger Terminal, the first ( and only) port ever to do so. Great stuff team, bring on Monday!!
04.01.2022 Stuart checked in overnight to share that his "work" trip to Miami is going well. He and Annie are currently on board the "Carnival Dream" with son Jeremy, who works for Carnival Cruises out of Miami. He hasn't seen a welcome anything like our Wollongong welcome but they are having a great time and learning lots of new tricks for next season!... Safe travel Stuart and Annie, see you soon!
