25.01.2022 10 things we hate about nutrition coaches. . 1. They always eat a perfect diet . . . . .Hahahaha! love it: no we don’t, we’re human too, we have cravings, mood swings, hormone fluctuations, stress and drama to deal with too and yes we eat our feelings sometimes! 2. They go on about mind set more than what I should eat . . . .yep there’s a really good reason for that - mindset is everything 3. They talk in Cliché’s like you are what you eat . . . .yep, that’s true, usual...ly because cliches are cliches for a reason, they’re quite often true, they’re easy to remember and you should follow them. 4. They expect me to eat broccoli . . . . Well Duh! Broccoli is good for you 5. They always analyse my plate and judge what’s on it . . .actually that’s not quite true, we’re actually calculating macros, micros and looking on enviously wondering if we can fit such a meal into our own plans. 6. They talk in jargon about metabolic pathways, upregulating receptors and systemic inflammation . . .. . you have the wrong coach, find one that will make things simple and easy to understand. 7. They ask endless questions . . . we need to know what you’re doing before we can know what to change and what will work for you. 8. They expect me to give up all the foods I love . . . ..actually we don’t, we’ll work with you to incorporate the foods you love into a healthy sustainable plan that will help you reach your goals. 9. They keep going on about my gut . . . well, unfortunately a necessary part of the getting healthy process is addressing the fact the we are more bacteria than human and most of those bacteria reside in your gut, sorry but that’s a truth 10. They won’t let me quit . . .we become coaches because we hate to see people struggle and suffer with health problems, please let us help you. See more

01.01.2022 10 Things We Hate About Trainers . . . . 1. Trainers Can’t Count! . . . . Yes we can, we just adjust your sets and reps as we go to accommodate your fatigue levels! 2. Trainers always change their minds . . . . Well I’m a woman and a trainer, it’s my prerogative! Male trainers . . . Not my problem!... 3. My Trainer always pushes me hard . . . . We see your potential, not your perceived limitations 4. My trainer always makes me do Burpees . . . . Burpees will save your life! When you’re the only 90 year old tearing up the nursing home and you accidentally fall over, you’ll be able to get yourself off the floor! 5. Trainers always make me keep a food diary . . . . You are what you eat Abs are made in the kitchen 85% of your results come from your nutrition You can’t out -train a bad diet . . . . . .Quotes and Cliché’s for a reason!!!! 6. Trainers always say Your nearly there! . . . . . You ARE nearly there . . . . just keep going! 7. Trainers always make the warm up harder than the workout . . . . Well? your warm at the end of it aren’t you? That’s the point! 8. My trainer makes me do scary exercises . . . . . Over coming fears and mental limitations is part of training it helps train your mind not just your body 9. Trainers can’t tell the time . . . . Everyone knows trainer minutes are longer than normal minutes, we’re allowed to take liberties with the time ! 10. I always Thank my trainer for the pain they’ve just inflicted on me AND pay them for the privilege! . . . . . Because you know we genuinely care about your health, fitness and well-being . . . . Awwwww!
