09.01.2022 Completed this lovely bookshelf just in time for Christmas. What a joy this was to design and construct. Each shelf has a distinct curve on the front edge, the stiles taper from the top with the through exposed tenons. I applied feast&watson black stain followed by 1 coat of Osmo clear satin to really bring the sheen of the timber out. #furniture #osmooil#feast&watson

05.01.2022 The festool domino. What makes the Domino unique is that these mortises can be made extremely quickly, and with perfect alignment. It uses a special bit that rotates, similar to a regular drill. But it also moves from left to right at an angle really quickly. You just push the rotating bit into the wood and it automatically creates a perfectly clean mortise in under 2 seconds.
