Pixie loved the company & knowing I gave her food! 13.01.2022 With a heatwave coming it's always important to remember the surface temperature when deciding to take your pup for a walk, even when the sun goes down the asph...alt, sand and concrete still retain heat! I am always flabbergasted to see the amount of poor dogs being walked, or more accurately dragged, when it's hot! Give it a miss, include some extra enrichment activities into their routine and they will thank you for it, walking your dog is not the be all and end all of dog ownership and in these temperatures it's just plain irresponsible! Break out the Kongs, the interactive feeders, heck even hiding some dry food or treats in egg cartons is something to keep your pup entertained in the hot! Remember to always leave fresh water available to your pets and educate yourself on the risks and signs of heatstroke! Stay safe Adelaide
